Residential docks
A dock is more than a parking space for your boat. No two SOS docks are the same, because the shoreline, the water depth and the way a family actually uses the lake are never the same either. Every dock below was designed around one property.
Two-slip covered dock with living deck
Roofed slips for the boat, and a deck laid out to be sat on. Post bumpers and vinyl edging on every corner a hull can reach.

Three slips, PWC ports and a swim platform
Boat lifts, swim platforms, seating areas and storage are all added at build time rather than bolted on later. Tell us how many hulls, how many people, and how you get in the water.

We bring our own barge
Setting a dock, driving pilings into bedrock, pulling an old dock out of a cove — all of it happens from our own barge and crane, on the water. Nothing waits on a rented lift.

Chapter 02
Commercial docks
Marinas, resorts, condominium associations, restaurants and waterfront developments. Multi-slip structures, walkways and piers engineered for public traffic and for the wake of a busy lake weekend.
Multi-slip commercial dock
Every commercial waterfront is a different problem: the depth at the shore end, the wake it takes, how many boats have to turn in the cove. SOS designs and builds to the site rather than to a catalogue.

Piers, gangways and shore walkways
Getting people safely from the bank to the water is half of a commercial job and most of the liability. We build piers and walkways for leisure and commercial use, and we repair the ones that have started to move.

Chapter 03
Repairs and service
Most of the lake's docks were not built this year. If yours is sitting low, moving in a blow, or short one slip for the boat you just bought, these are the jobs we do week in and week out.
- Dock repairs — storm damage, impact damage, and the emergency calls that will not wait for spring.
- Re-foaming — the fix when a dock is riding low. Failed billets are replaced with encapsulated flotation so the deck sits level again.
- Slip extensions and add-ons — a longer or wider slip for a bigger boat, extra PWC ports, added storage.
- Raise roof — roof elevation for clearance over a taller hull or a new tower.
- Fill-ins and “V’s” — reworking an awkward slip layout into usable deck and water.
- Underwater bracing — structural bracing below the waterline for a frame that has begun to flex.
- Pilings driven into bedrock — the most stable anchoring available at the lake, driven from our barge.
- Piers — new build and repair, leisure or commercial.
- Wet storage — 24′ and 28′ options.

Chapter 04
The permit, handled
You cannot put a dock on the Lake of the Ozarks without a shoreline permit from Ameren Missouri, and the application is where most first-time dock owners stall. SOS prepares and submits it for you as part of the job.

- 3Build in the shop The frame, the roof and the deck are built to your drawings before anything goes near the water.
- 4Set from our barge Delivered, set, anchored and cabled from our own barge and crane, then walked with you before we leave.
